"Crowdfunding Success: Kimi ga Nozomu Eien Redevelopment Exceeds Goals"

Game developer aNCHOR successfully concluded its crowdfunding campaign for the redevelopment project of Age's visual novel "Kimi ga Nozomu Eien" (Rumbling Hearts) on December 29. The campaign exceeded its goal of 30,000,000 yen, raising a total of 57,892,199 yen (about US$400,000).

The crowdfunding campaign, launched on October 27, reached its initial goal in a month. Age originally released the adult visual novel in 2001, and a Kickstarter for a remake was announced by Degica in 2016. The successful campaign will bring enhanced graphics and additional content to the classic title.

Title: "New Overlord Movie Teaser Unveiled – Holy Kingdom Arc Set to Open This Year"

Kadokawa recently released a teaser video for the upcoming Overlord film, "Gekijō-ban Overlord Sei Ōkoku-hen" (Overlord the Movie Holy Kingdom Arc), scheduled to premiere later this year. Directed by Naoyuki Itou and produced by Madhouse, the film will feature the return of key cast members, including Satoshi Hino, Yumi Hara, and Masayuki Katou. The announcement was made during a live special in 2021. The Overlord franchise, based on Kugane Maruyama's light novel series, continues to captivate audiences with its immersive storyline, with the fourth season of the anime premiering in July 2022.

Spice & Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf Anime Premieres in April with Festive New Year Visual

The upcoming Ōkami to Kōshinryō: merchant meets the wise wolf (Spice & Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf) television anime, based on Isuna Hasekura's Spice & Wolf light novel series, is scheduled to debut in April on TV Tokyo and other networks. To celebrate the new year, the official Twitter account released a festive visual featuring Holo in a kimono as part of the "Holo to Megurushiki no Monogatari" (Holo and the Tale of Four Seasons) project. Takeo Takahashi returns as the chief director, and Jun Fukuyama and Ami Koshimizu reprise their roles as Kraft Lawrence and Holo, respectively. The anime's Twitter account shared the excitement in English, saying, "Please look forward to their new journey."

Tragedy Strikes: Go Nagai Wonderland Museum Destroyed in Ishikawa Earthquake

The Go Nagai Wonderland Museum in Wajima City, Nagai's birthplace, has tragically burned down following a 7.6-magnitude earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture. Go Nagai's studio, Dynamic Production, expressed concern for the city's residents and stated that further information will be released once details are confirmed. The acclaimed manga creator, currently in Tokyo, is deeply saddened by the situation in his hometown. The museum, showcasing Nagai's iconic works like Mazinger Z and Devilman, had been an integral part of Wajima since its opening in 2009. The earthquake, claiming 48 lives, including 19 in Wajima, has prompted ongoing rescue efforts.
