THE APOTHECARY DIARIES
The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 Confirmed for 2025
The anime adaptation of The Apothecary Diaries light novel series concluded its first season, announcing a second season for 2025 with a new teaser visual. Season 1 premiered on October 21, airing for two cours. Crunchyroll streams the series in Japan and provides an English dub.

OSHI NO KO
Second Season of Oshi no Ko Anime Set to Premiere in July
At AnimeJapan 2024, a stage presentation announced the upcoming premiere of the 2nd season of Oshi no Ko in July. The event also introduced additional cast members through a video teaser, featuring insights into the 2.5 stage play "Tokyo Blade," an adaptation of the manga. Fans can anticipate further details about the anime on April 12, coinciding with the 1-year anniversary of the 1st season.

BLUE EXORCIST
Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga - Season 3
Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga is the third season of the Blue Exorcist Anime, based on the manga by Kazue Kato gets a sequel in Ocotober. The season aired from January 7 to March 24 - 2024, with 12 episodes. It will be titled as Ao no Exorcist: Yuki no Hate-hen (Blue Exorcist: At the End of the Snow Chapter). The upcoming season adapts volumes 10 to 15 of the original manga and features the return of the cast and creative team from previous seasons.

BLUE ARCHIVE
Blue Archive Anime Reveals New Characters and Sensei's Design
The official website for Blue Archive The Animation, based on the smartphone game, released a new promotional video showcasing additional game characters and the first look at the Sensei character, voiced by Shōgo Sakata. Scheduled to premiere on TV Tokyo's new Sunday night anime block on April 7, the anime aims to reach a broader audience. It will also air on BS11 and stream on various platforms in Japan, adapting the "Countermeasures Committee" arc.

BOCCHI THE ROCK
Bocchi the Rock! Anime Films Unveiled at AnimeJapan 2024
Aniplex concluded its AnimeJapan 2024 booth events by unveiling a trailer and key visual for the Bocchi the Rock! anime compilation films. The trailer revealed the release dates of June 7 and August 9 for the two films, along with a preview of Kessoku Band's new song. The first film showcases fresh animation synchronized with Kessoku Band's track "Tsukinami ni Kagayaki," featuring lyrics by Ai Higuchi, composition by -otoha-, and arrangement by Ritsuo Mitsui.

MAGICAL DOREMI
Magical DoReMi Anime's 25th Anniversary Video released
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Magical DoReMi released a video at AnimeJapan 2024 showcasing the main characters' new animated appearances as adults. Directed by Junichi Satō and Tatsuya Nagamine, with character design by Yoshihiko Umakoshi and choreography by Sho from YZ Entertainment, the video premiered on January 19. The franchise, known as Ojamajo Doremi in Japan, previously marked its 20th anniversary with a special event in 2019.

WARNER BROS
Warner Bros. Japan Expands Anime Production
Warner Bros. Japan, part of Warner Bros. Discovery, plans to increase its anime production to over 10 titles annually targeting the 18-30 age group. With a history of 80+ titles like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the studio is expanding its reach in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. Alongside anime hits, they are involved in live-action adaptations of Japanese properties and are set to premiere the original Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime and a new Fist of the North Star adaptation.
